How It Works Step-by-Step

This page shows in step-by-step detail how the Invoicing System is used to accept payment for an invoice.

1.

Online Invoice system - Microsoft Outlook
A payment link can be created using a macro in Microsoft Outlook. This can be initiated by clicking a toolbar button on an Outlook form or window.

A browser window will open, taking you to the password-protected control panel (#3)

2.

Via a Web Integration Link you can invoice contacts directly from the SalesForce Online CRM console - click the 'Invoice Now' link when viewing a Contact.

A payment link can be created either via an integrated link such as the two above, or by visiting the password-protected control panel directly.

4.

Online Invoice system - Enter invoice details
Enter a few simple details regarding the invoice or transaction.

If you've come from an external application such as MS Outlook or SalesForce CRM, these will be pre-populated.

5.

Online Invoice system - Create encrypted link
When you click 'Create', an encrypted link is created, containing payment information customised for your client.

Click the encrypted link to test it, or copy to your clipboard.

Online Invoice system - Send the link in an email Send the link in an email to your client or customer, explaining that it's easy for them to pay online by following the encrypted link...

7.

Online Invoice system - WorldPay payment screen When your client or customer follows the link to the WorldPay payment screen, their transaction is ready for payment and the invoice number and description are detailed.

8.

On the payment screen, your client's address, name and email are pre-populated - everything except the card credit details.

On successful payment, your client is returned to your home page, or your page for returning customers.
