Opening Times - Technical Information

This Opening Times script is written in ASP and JScript code. It constructs the HTML code for a plain table containing the opening times information, and the table can be placed anywhere on the page.

The ASP code uses arrays to hold the opening times for each day of the week.

JScript has a convenient function getTimezoneOffset() which returns the timezone. There is no equivalent method in ASP, and so the code includes a server-side JScript function which uses getTimezoneOffset().

The Override status, which is derived from querystring parameters as described above, is held in Application variables so that it persists for all visitors and across browser sessions
