Integration - CPI and MPI Integration
Barclaycard Business Services offer two distinct online payment solutions.
They are called the CPI and the MPI
and we are able to offer advice on the appropriate solution for your requirements.
ePDQ CPI Integration - Cardholder Payment Interface
The ePDQ CPI payment pages are hosted on ePDQ's servers. This
method of integration is straightforward and the ePDQ CPI can be integrated
with any website which has basic scripting capabilities such as ASP, PHP,
CGI, or Perl.
With the CPI solution, you avoid the cost of purchasing an SSL
security certificate as the card entry pages are covered with the
ePDQ SSL security certificate. CPI payment pages are customisable with
a logo and business name. Cardholders benefit from the security provided
by entered their card number directly to Barclaycard pages.
No Scripting Capabilities?
If your website has no scripting capability, we can often still implement
the ePDQ CPI for you, especially if you have a small number of products.
We also offer high-quality ecommerce hosting
at only £10 per month which is suitable for websites requiring ePDQ
integration.
ePDQ MPI Integration - Merchant Payment Interface
The ePDQ MPI offers complete control over the payment interface.
When using the ePDQ MPI solution, payment pages are hosted on the merchant's
web site. The merchant is responsible for the security of the payment
pages, including the supply of an SSL certificate
for the card-entry pages.
The ePDQ MPI provides the facility to create standard transactions,
and additionally enables the automated processing of other advanced
types of transactions such as "PostAuth" and "RePreAuth"
transactions.
We can integrate your website shopping cart, or any other kind of ecommerce
application with the ePDQ MPI payments solution, to enable real-time credit
card processing. We are able to use a method of integration which does
not require any software or components to be installed on the webserver.
Complete ePDQ Integration Service
We offer a complete ePDQ integration service with either the CPI
or MPI version of ePDQ, and with any website, shopping
cart or ecommerce application. Our integration service covers every
