Shopping Cart - Custom Application Integration Cart Intro - Install - FAQ - Templates - Tokens - Database - Purchase - View Basket In order to facilitate back-end integration with almost any 3rd-party application, the PHP Shopping Cart provides a number of extra features with the Advanced Integration component. Remote HTTP Callback Advanced Database Integration Capabilities ePDQ Integration and non HTML Payment Processors Remote HTTP Callback To pass order information to almost any 3rd-party application, the PHP Shopping Cart can perform an HTTP request to the application, which we'll refer to as the remote callback. The Remote HTTP Callback occurs at the point when the user chooses their method of payment. All of the order and customer information are passed in the HTTP request to your application. The parameters of the remote HTTP callback request are the same as the Template Tokens Advanced Database Integration Capabilities Although the PHP Shopping Cart doesn't require a database, it does include the ability to update a remote database with the order and customer details. With the inbuilt ability to connect to MS Access, MS SQL Server, MySQL, DSN database connections, the cart allows for any SQL statement or remote procedure call to be executed. This could include creating a table to hold the order data, or running a stored procedure or SQL DTS package.                                                ePDQ Integration and non-HTML Payment Processors The Shopping Cart is automatically compatible with any payment solution which has an HTML interface to the payment gateway. In addition, the Advanced Integration component includes some functions required to generate payments via a non-HTML interface. For example, the ePDQ CPI Secure Online Payments service requires the order details to be encrypted when passing the payment to ePDQ. The Advanced Integration component for the Shopping Cart can encrypt orders with the ePDQ encryption routine and use the ePDQ CPI payments service.
