The cart is fully customisable and can be seamlessly added to your
website. To enable complete customisability of the Shopping Cart, templates

any HTML-based Payment System
The cart is pre-configured to use WorldPay payments, and can be
configured to work with almost any payment solution. It comes with
templates to use several popular payment systems including ePDQ, WorldPay,
Secure Trading, PayPal, and NoChex.

Currency
The shopping cart is multi-currency enabled, with no limit to the number
of currencies that can be used in the cart. The basket can only contain
items of one currency at a single time, and the customer can empty the
basket to change currency.

Suitable
for UK Merchants
The cart is especially suitable for UK merchants. The default currency
is GBP Sterling, and the default cart messages refer to postage and VAT,

Minimal
Installation Requirements
The shopping cart requires hardly any installation. The shopping cart
folder just needs to be placed on a website running PHP. Write permissions
are needed on the log files.
At the core of the shopping cart is a single stand-alone PHP script,
which is compatible with most websites and versions of PHP. No components
need to be installed.

Database Required
Our Shopping Cart is not a product catalogue and does not require
a database. The cart provides a seamless layer betwen your website and
your payment processor, and is intended to work with your existing product
catalogue.
The order data is stored in the user's session and the customer details
are stored in a cookie. The complete order details are emailed to the
merchant and also to the customer at the time of the order. The orders
can optionally be saved to file.

Database Integration Capabilities
Although the cart does not need a database, it does includes the ability
to connect to MS Access, MS SQL Server, MySQL, DSN database connections.
This could be to run an SQL statement to insert the oder data, or to run
a stored procedure or DTS package. This enables easy integration
with many other applications.
At the other end of the spectrum, the cart can export orders to a comma-delimited
text file to easily import back into most applications.
